Biography:
Lynaris Elpheage (5-9, 170, 4.4) of New Orleans Carver, Louisiana has already been a two-year starter going into the 2002 season. As a true freshman in 2000, he was a second team All-C-USA selection and also a member of the C-USA All-Freshman Team. He recorded 44 tackles and had two interceptions against Concinnati. In 2001, he started all twelve games and led Tulane in interceptions with three. In high school, Super El earned 4A Offensive Player of the Year when he passed for 2,300 yards and 34 touchdowns while rushing for another 270-yards and 8 more touchdowns.
