Four Panthers going to Hawaii

Four Carolina Panthers have been named to the NFC Pro Bowl squad.

Offensive Tackle Jordan Gross was named to his first Pro Bowl and likely will start at right tackle opposite of Walter Jones from Seattle.

Julius Peppers was also named a starter at defensive end, rebounding from a sub-par 2007 campaign.

Jon Beason was named a reserve at middle linebacker behind San Francisco's Patrick Willis.

Steve Smith will be going back to Hawaii as a receiver, but in a reserve role behind Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin of the Arizona Cardinals. Recommended Stories
