Four Carolina Panthers have been named to the NFC Pro Bowl squad.
|
Offensive Tackle Jordan Gross was named to his first Pro Bowl and likely will start at right tackle opposite of Walter Jones from Seattle.
Julius Peppers was also named a starter at defensive end, rebounding from a sub-par 2007 campaign.
Jon Beason was named a reserve at middle linebacker behind San Francisco's Patrick Willis.
Steve Smith will be going back to Hawaii as a receiver, but in a reserve role behind Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin of the Arizona Cardinals.
