Correction: Peppers not a Free Agent in '08
Peppers.
Peppers.

For the record, we've contacted Scout.com and Charlie Bernstein, Editor-in-Chief of JagNation.com about his article posted on February 4, 2008 stating that Julius Peppers was soon to be a free agent. Peppers still has one year left on his current contract with the Carolina Panthers.

Perhaps Bernstein got Peppers and fellow defensive end Mike Rucker confused for one another. It is Rucker, not Peppers, who is scheduled to be a free agent at the end of February.

Rucker stated on Monday that he wants to play next season after previously stating that the '07 season may be his last.

We are sorry for any confusion this might have caused.
